    Description

    Small vintage handmade apple gathering basket.  I think this is what it's called.  I believe it's made of ash.  It's beautifully done, very nice handwork.  It measures 5 inches long and 2-1/2 inches high.  I purchased this little basket at a "Pink Palace Arts & Crafts" Show in Memphis, TN about 18 to 15 years ago.  I brought it because of the weaving.  I's so well done, and it's so small.  It was made by a weaver in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Herman Warren.
