victorian pin cushion

Description

French victorian (?) pin cushion. Stuffed with straw, primitive but very cool in a working class kind of way. Mounted on a tin base, may have been mounted on top of a larger , figure or designed piece due to 3 tiny holes drilled through lip of base as would be used for attaching/stabilizing unit. Design of cloth is sorta fleur de lis , which leads me to think French Victorian. No markings or stamps on piece. Judging from the pins in cushion and patina , my guess is 1920-1930’s. Stands about 3.5 inches tall and 4 inches across. Still very functional. Condition is “Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
