    Canadian World War 1 Victory Medal to Lt. J. C. Waller KIA 1917 36th Regiment
    John Charles Waller was a Lieutenant in the 36th Regiment CEF and was killed in action May 3rd, 1917 at Vimy Ridge. His father was a minister of the Anglican Church of Canada and was active in Japan, where Lt. Waller was born. He is commemorated in several churches in Hamilton, Ontario and the original cross marking his grave is preserved in the Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario.
