This is the SILK original type that was made for the medal itself, as opposed to today's ribbon which is rayon. 37 mm wide approx.
In excellent condition, some fading on one side, other side is pristine, no water damage, original as is.
An excellent rare opportunity to purchase this original issue silk circa WW1 ribbon.
This is the British / Canadian / Australian / India etc. issue but also used by many allied nations.
